Initial Unit / Aggregation Development

I first developed a simple unit of 3 tubes built within an 8-point volume. I created three different versions and aggregated them.
The result is quite messy, and the individual units are clearly read and there is a lack of continuity.

I simplified the base tube to a loft between only 3 profiles and elongated the 8-point volume.
The result is more elegant and reads more like an armature capable of defining space and less like a jumble.



gc armature 1 clip
I re-created the tube unit in GC, with each profile defined by 8 points that can be manipulated. Each tube component is placed by selecting 3 points.
The general rule for placing tubes is:
Between any 8 given points, there are 3 tubes. The 6 tube-ends must connect to 4 total points.
